M\u00f6glicherweise f\u00fchrt uns diese Frage zum Werk selbst, vielleicht aber auch hin zum Begriff des Nicht-Werks, zum Nicht-Anerkannten, den Realisaten ohne Zeugenschaft, mitunter zum Vergessenen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">Neben der Fotografie arbeitet Katharina Mayer mit ihrer Stimme und engagiert sich in verschiedenen sozial-politischen Zusammenh\u00e4ngen. So gr\u00fcndete sie beispielweise die D\u00fcsseldorfer &#8222;Akademie der Stra\u00dfe&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">Katharina Mayer studierte Fotografie an der Kunstakademie D\u00fcsseldorf bei Prof. Bernd Becher und Video bei Prof. Nan Hoover.
